Portugal has a long coastline to the Atlantic Ocean, a mild climate that makes it desirable to visit all year round and the country is packed with sights and UNESCO monuments. Portugal's climate lends itself to perfect travel in spring or autumn.
Visit the capital of Portugal, Lisbon, on a company trip to Lisbon and experience Bairro Alta, UNESCO monuments such as the Jeronimos Monastery and the famous cream cakes (paseis de nata) at the Antiga Confeitaria de Belém patisserie. West of Lisbon lies Sintra, which offers castles and fantastic nature, and close to Sintra you will find Cabo da Roca - Europe's westernmost point. On a full-day excursion from Lisbon, you can combine Sintra, Cabo da Roca and Cascais - a cozy harbor town with a beautiful beach just half an hour's drive from the capital.
On the Company trip to Porto, we recommend combining the city of Porto itself with an excursion: east of the city lies the wonderful Douro wine region. Here the vines are planted down the slopes towards the river that meanders through the landscape. It is possible to arrange a wine tasting with both traditional red and white wines and port, possibly combined with a sumptuous lunch overlooking the Douro River. East of Porto is also the Baroque palace Palacio de Mateus, known for its beautiful gardens, a mansion and wine production. West of Porto you will find the large Serralves Museum, which mixes modern architecture and art.
